I met Nico through a Facebook page of Argentinian people living in the bay area. The group not only helps you to not feel so far from home, they make reunions with bbqs and help each others for example: ‘someone know where I can buy dulce de leche?”, “I am traveling to SF for the summer someone has a room where I can stay?’ And we can also advertise our business, so there I was, offering my services.
Nico is from Cordoba, I been there when I was a teenager, the weather is like here, the summers are dry and the winters are cold but not that cold. Is a city in between mountains and with the most charismatic people.
He came here on the 2015 to do a master, little did he know, he found love and end up marrying his partner, Garrett. They met 3 years ago, just when Nico arrived to the country and start as friends an a couples month later, they decided to start dating.
They contact me to do their ceremony in the City Hall San Francisco. That place is not only giant, is beautiful.
Has a light to die for, and a big cinematic stair and the best of all? The love that surrounds it in every little corner.
We arrived all on time, they didn’t seems too nervous, and that shows how confident they are with their decision.
Friends and family were there and we were ready for the action. The ceremony started, and is like the place shut up, there’s no more sound than the voice of the judge who is asking if they chose each other for the rest of their life.
A single last kiss and they were married. We take some pictures with family and friends, some do funny faces and everyone do hugs.
We say goodbye and head out to do our session outdoor. Its raining, I take my umbrella out, “it seems you guys are in paris” I’ll replay in a text later.
It’s great to be part of this moments, because they would always look back to these pictures and remember this moment.t
